As part of our undertaking to continue supporting our local community and district, the Lobethal Recreation Ground has made the undercroft area of their clubrooms available for the Foodbank SA Truck.
This service was established following the recent Cudlee Creek bushfires and was originally located outside the Lobethal Recovery Centre. With the onset of winter they were looking to offer undercover protection to their clients while they were waiting to be served.
The new toilets are now complete and were achieved with grants from the Adelaide Hills Council,a $20,000 Community Grant and various fundraising by the Committee. We also received generous support from Caroma, Reece Mt Barker, Caeserstone and Aqualoo. A big thanks to Prior Builders, Scott Hughes Plumbing, Fisher Cabinets and Unique Commercial Tiles. The new toilets look great and will serve the Rec Ground for many years to come!
